OPENING PRAYER

Master of the Universe, Mighty Creator, Thank-You for gathering us together in Worship and Fellowship before Your throne. As it is written in Holy Scripture; "For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst."-{Mat 18:20 NASB} My Lord, You are always welcomed to reach us and teach us in the great mysteries of Your unending Kingdom. Grant us open ears, hearts and souls to receive Your Word, and such wisdom and grace to understand and apply that which we learn from Your Servant Preacher, as he speaks Your will in the name of Jesus the Christ, AMEN.

MESSAGE

The LOVE that God has for us is almost impossible to define, or quantify. In 1Jn 4:15-19 NKJV Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. (16) And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

(17) Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. (18) There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. (19) We love Him because He first loved us. What a profound portrait of the unending depth of His love for the very creation of His hands.

Eph 2:4-9 NKJV But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, (5) even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), (6) and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, (7) that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (8) For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, (9) not of works, lest anyone should boast.

In one of the most often recited verses in the Bible, we again see the evidence of an incredible display of Love by our Creator; For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. -{Joh 3:16 NKJV } WHO DOES THIS? A Human does not have this capability or even depth of thought, reason or emotion. Its the LORD, our God, Our Savior, our King! HE DOES THIS!

Rom 8:32 NKJV He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Psa 145:9 NKJV The LORD is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works.  Guess who His works are?  ITS YOU AND ME!!

APPLICATION & SUMMARY

God's incredible Love for His creation has no definable limits. We cannot "plumb the depth" because there is no bottom. We cannot determine the "altitude" of His Love since there is no ceiling.

The final gathering between Jesus and His Apostles before the crucifixion, was a celebration of His earthly/fleshly life. None of the attendees had any grasp of the magnitude of Jesus words and teachings. Gathering all of them to "eat" at the table, He had earlier washed their feet. He Taught them the method of sacrament by way of the Last Supper, encouraging them to do this as often as they eat in remembrance of Him. After singing hymns they departed Jerusalem heading to the Mount of Olives and the Garden of Gethsemane. As they walked, Jesus told them in Mat 26:31 NKJV ; "All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written: 'I WILL STRIKE THE SHEPHERD, AND THE SHEEP OF THE FLOCK WILL BE SCATTERED.'

Peter exclaimed that even if all the others "stumbled", that he would never do likewise. Jesus then told Peter, that before the Rooster crows this night, Peter would deny Jesus three times!!  Peter did exactly what Jesus predicted. Peter was Crushed!

Often times, our biggest and toughest challenge comes from our inability to forgive ourselves even though the Lord has already forgiven and moved on. Peter was in that mode. Fishing was the only safe place where he could think, and suffer over what he had done.

After the resurrection, Lord Jesus made a number of appearances of His faithful. Lets join the morning scene on the beach when Jesus appeared again:

Joh 21:14-17 NKJV [Here we find the word LOVE , translated from the Greek but with two differing meanings of the depth and character of what we know as LOVE]

This is now the third time Jesus showed Himself to His disciples after He was raised from the dead. (15) So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" {AGAPE LOVE- As in do you LIKE ME more than these?}

[Peter] said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs." [Peter's response used a different Greek word, PHILEO, which is a much stronger and more intimate level of Love, as between husband and wife or brothers or close kin.]

(16) [Jesus] said to him again a second time, [using the AGAPE word], "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" [Peter responded to Him in PHILEO ] , "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Tend My sheep."

(17) [Jesus said to him the third time, but used the PHILEO expression] "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.

This beautiful exchange between Jesus and Peter shows clearly the deep Love Jesus had for Peter. Peter, like many of us, found it difficult to forgive himself when he went astray. Forgiving others for offenses seems much easier than forgiving our own stumbles. Twice Jesus asked Peter if he LIKED him better than these. Again if he liked Him directly. Then on third time, Jesus used the expression do you LOVE me using Phileo meaning the most intimate and sincere intent. It was in this moment, Peter finally realized that Jesus had truly forgiven him for his denials, and now it was time to forgive himself, opening the way for the Holy Spirit to guide and teach Peter all he would need to share the Gospel of our Lord, our Savior.

As the Bible tells us, "We love him, because he first loved us".

1Jn 4:19 KJV

Jn15:16, Ac9:15, 1Co1:27-29, Nu6:24-26

OPENING PRAYER

Almighty God, we open this on this Holy weekend with thanksgiving in our hearts. We all are so very blessed. Blessed beyond any merit we think we might have except one! We who have gathered belong to You, we only exist because of You, and we live only at Your will. Thank-YOU! Grant us open minds, hearts and souls to the message revealed through Holy Scripture, grant us wisdom and discernment to understand and obey Your will. We pray this in the name of Jesus the Christ, AMEN.

MESSAGE

When Jesus sat down and began preparing a list of MESSENGERS or AMBASSADORS, He made it quite clear in saying: " Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain"..{Joh 15:16 KJV} Did you know that ANGELS are also known as MESSENGERS or AMBASSADORS? The Hebrew word is pronounced "mal akh", and in Greek; "presbeu" a precursor to what we know today as a "presbyter" or "Presbyterian".

Everyone of us who have confessed Jesus and been infilled with the Holy Spirit are AMBASSADORS of GOD. Our commission came from Jesus himself: in Mat 28:19 NASB "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. As we follow through on this AMBASSADORSHIP, we share the beauty and majesty of the Gospel of Christ, through our behavior, our words, our touch, our kindness and our Love.

The Lord said to [His Ambassador Ananias], "Go, for [Saul] is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel; (16) for I will show him how much he must suffer for My name's sake." { Act 9:15-16 NASB} Little did Saul [called Paul] know then just how demanding his AMBASSADORSHIP would be, and Paul accepted it fully to his last breath.

As Ambassadors of the Living God, we enjoy the full backing of the Lord's awesome power. It is here where we are most effective as result of our adoption into the Holy Family. As Children of God, we have access to the very throne of The Creator. An awesomely wonderful tool is the power of prayer! Through this gift and privilege and well practiced Faith, even mountains can be moved! (seemingly impossible feats) We have an open channel at any hour from any location, and never receive a busy signal!!

SUMMARY/APPLICATION

1Co 1:27-29 NKJV But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; (28) and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, (29) that no flesh should glory in His presence.

Being commissioned as an Ambassador for Jesus is a really big deal. It should never be taken for granted. Instead, it should be our personal mission to conduct ourselves in a manner that reflects well on our Lord and Maker in all situations and callings. Of all the tools GOD has gifted us, the greatest is Holy Scripture, THE BIBLE. When we pray, God will often reply to us through His Word in Holy Scripture. The more you read the Bible, the more you learn about your Creator, and learn His will. As you read it, it reads you!

CLOSING PRAYER

Holy Father, Mighty Lord grant us the wisdom and discipline to fill ourselves to the brim with You. To be consumed by Your love and Holiness.

As we go our way, returning to a carnal world, let us remain insulated against the wiles of Satan, let us hold firm until we meet again.

Walking in the foot-steps of our Savior, in Jesus we pray, Amen

OPENING PRAYER

Father of all creation, with great humility we thank You for gathering us together in worship and growth on this Holy Weekend. Grant us open minds, hearts and souls to the message revealed in Holy Scripture while granting us wisdom and discernment to fully understand and obey Your will. We pray this in the name of Jesus the Christ, AMEN.

MESSAGE

A seventh grader in Sunday school asked "Does GOD play favorites?" That is a good question! Our Father does and does not use favoritism, at least as we humans define favoritism in our person to person relationships. Let us open our Bibles and invite The Word to show us the direction and God's answer to the young lady's question. Turn your Bibles to Genesis and Chapter one where all things began.

As you know, GOD has always been and there has never been a time when He was not! Take a look at two verses; Gen 1:26 & 27 KJV- And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (27) So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

God made the MAN from the dust of the earth. The Woman, He made from Adam! Adam was created First. Eve was Second in this creation. Adam was of the dust of the earth. The Woman was of the flesh and bone of Adam.

God is the creator, we are the CREATED. We are all subservient to GOD. Adam is no exception. Eve is likewise subservient to Adam.

This is the "Pecking Order" that we MUST follow. Why? Because GOD said so. He is the Creator. We are not. He leads...we follow! GOD is THE authority on all things, Adam is subservient to GOD and must follow the Commandments of his creator. Likewise, as water runs quickly down hill, all of GOD's creation MUST follow GOD's lead! There are no exceptions!

Thus far, the only FAVORITES we find would be God's unending love for the creation of His very hands. You and me. I would never categorize my relationship with Almighty God as my BF {Best Friend} or my BFF {Best Friend-forever}. Jesus is, was, and will forever be-- the Most Powerful, AWESOME and Grand Author of everything that there is...EVERYTHING. I FEAR and Revere that incredible and Holy power! He is GOD! The Absolute Authority!

Adam and Eve, as husband and wife, might well enjoy the BF or BFF moniker in their personal relationship with each other. The Lord made them partners. Adam, being the Senior Partner, as God willed. This denotes the realization of kinship, LOVE, TRUST, RESPECT, HONESTY. Maybe even BEST FRIENDS as Husband and Wife. Their joint relationship with GOD also seems to flourish at the same time.

Then came the day when EVE was deceived by the serpent and Adam, with lust and purpose in his heart, disobeyed the Word of God that was delivered directly Mouth to Ear to him. The Horror of SIN was immediately introduced into the world and this PERFECT MAN and PERFECT WOMAN were perfect no more! Nor was the Garden any longer perfect.

SIN went forth and manifest itself through Cain and Able. The boundary line between Good and Evil was established. God's chosen people would soon be selected. Those of the linage of SETH {who was next to be born to Adam & Eve following the killing of Able} -would be the BELIEVERS in the one true GOD. Cain's linage, would represent the UNBELIEVERS of mankind, those who refused to follow the Creator, instead worshiping Satan and themselves as Gods. This dividing line exists to this very day. Those who BELIEVE, TRUST & OBEY, Vs. those who journey in another way leading to darkness and suffering forever.

SUMMARY/APPLICATION

Does GOD play favorites? That was the child's question. YES. God does.

He favors those who BELEIVE. He favors those who TRUST in Him. He favors those who OBEY his will and commands, He favors those who LOVE Him. Those who willingly and with all their heart embrace and SHARE the Gospel of His Son, and the promise of Salvation to those who call His name and receive Him into their bodies. The promise of eternal life of joy in the very presence of HE who created all things.

Yes, God favors those by forgiving their sins, delivering them to eternal life in joy, peace, and Awe. Although God loves deeply ALL of His creation, He will favor the righteous and shun the evil. God shares His kingdom with those who believe that He is who He is, and give themselves unto Him fully. Following Him where ever He may go. Yes, God favors His chosen, but he constantly extends the hand of the promise of salvation to all others. Others who with all sincerity may call HIS NAME, confessing with their mouth and receive Him unto themselves through the only door, JESUS THE CHRIST.

If you have not yet experienced the wonder and joy of His Love, that is JESUS the CHRIST, and received His Spirit into your body, won't you do so right now?

Read these words out loud with me; Lord JESUS, I am so tired of being tired. Tired of feeling as though something is missing in my life, a void that I cannot seem to fill. I believe what I am missing is YOU! LORD JESUS, please come into me now, this very moment. Fill me with YOU. Let me breath the air of Salvation, forgive me of my sins, and guide me to sin no more. Make me New. Make me Yours, this I pray in Your Holy Name ...Jesus, Son of God, my forever Savior, AMEN

If you were truly sincere of heart in this request, your eyes are now fully open. Go to John, Chapter 3, and read verses 16 through 21. What you now see and can fully understand will confirm that you have received Jesus and the Holy Spirit within you. From this day forward, your Bible will read you....as you read it! With open eyes and with the in-dwelling Holy Spirit, NOW give your WHOLE self to Him completely.

Joh 3:16-21 NKJV For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (17) For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

(18) "He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

(19) And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

(20) For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.

(21) But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God."

Welcome to the TRUTH!

CLOSING PRAYER

The awesomeness of your Holy Being is overwhelming, O' Lord Jesus. Help us strengthen our Faith. Guide us away from the worldly and teach us to embrace the Holiness of your Spirit that resides in us. Let us be humble before all and ready always to share You with those whom we encounter, pouring out the truth of the Gospel message. Help us Live the same in our own walk before You, Lord Jesus, AMEN

OPENING PRAYER

Father of all creation, with great humility we thank-You for gathering us together for worship and growth on this Holy Weekend. Grant us open minds, hearts and souls to the message revealed in Holy Scripture while granting us wisdom and discernment to fully understand Your will. We pray this in the name of Jesus the Christ, AMEN.

MESSAGE

Bless you one and all for joining us in worship on this Holy Day. Through the wondrous and awesome blessing and power of a most HOLY and powerful GOD, Welcome to our SABBATH & SUNDAY WORSHIP MESSAGE.

Today's Message in Holy Scripture is pretty straight forward. A simple question. DO YOU BELEIVE IN THE SON OF GOD? The inquiry is from Jesus himself.

The scene today opens as Jesus and his followers [were passing] through a village. It is there they discovered a man who was blind, and had been blind from birth, and His disciples asked Him, saying, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" (3) Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. (4) I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. (5) As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world." { Joh 9:2-5 NKJV}

As you can see, there is a lot information in this first few verses of John Chapter 9. A significant healing was about to take place, in full view of a sizable crowd of witnesses. Past SIN of parents were frequently blamed for conditions and disabilities appearing from birth. Jesus promptly discounted that query reminding His team that His mission on earth is to do His Father's will and TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE!. This particular healing would get everyone's attention! Especially that of the Pharisees.

[Jesus] spat on the ground and made clay with [His] saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. (7) And He said to him, "Go, wash in the pool of Siloam". So he went and washed, and came back seeing. (8) Therefore the neighbors and those who previously had seen that he was blind said, "Is not this he who sat and begged?" Therefore they said to him, "How were your eyes opened?" (11) He answered and said, "A Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, 'Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.' So I went and washed, and I received sight." (12) Then they said to him, "Where is He?" He said, "I do not know." (13) They brought him--who formerly was blind--to the Pharisees. (14) Now it was a Sabbath when Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes. {Joh 9:6-14 NKJV}

See where we are headed? Jesus healed ON THE SABBATH! Not only that but he healed a man blind from birth. Never before had they heard of such a thing. This demanded a close and well conducted investigation!! And the Pharisees were egar to find something to use against Jesus.

In what was a heated confrontation between the formerly blind man, fully of age, and the insolent Pharisees, they determined to kick the poor man out of the Synagogue. The Man had challenged the religous leaders with the TRUTH! A very serious thing to do!

Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said to him, "Do you believe in the Son of God?" He answered and said, "Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?" And Jesus said to him, "You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you." Then he said, "Lord, I believe!" And he worshiped Him. And Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind." Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, "Are we blind also?" Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin;--but now you say, 'We see.' Therefore your sin remains. { Joh 9:35-41 NKJV}

We have a lot of work yet to do, you and I. Despite overwhelming Biblical evidence of HIS being, a huge number of God's creation do not believe that the Messiah actually came, and was crucified, raised from the dead and ascended into heaven being seated at the right hand of Almighty God. Also, He is coming back very soon! What about you? Do you know the Son of God?

In Hebrews 8:10-12 KJV we find this written; For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: (11) And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. (12) For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

SUMMARY/APPLICATION

The Apostle Paul responds in this 2nd Timothy verse; "For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day." {2Ti 1:12 KJV}

Jesus Himself thus confesses with His mouth; I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. {Rev 1:8 KJV}

DO YOU BELIEVE IN THE SON OF GOD?

Share HIM with others as you go your way this week. Instead of saying God Bless You, Smile broadly and tell them that JESUS LOVES THEM! It is the LOVE of others that marks us as belonging to The Royal Family of Jesus!

CLOSING PRAYER With humility we are filled with thanksgiving for Your Holy Message, Mighty GOD. As we fellowship, even remotely, we each are as close together as a whispered prayer. We revere You, and we Fear You when Your wrath is awakened. Grant us wisdom, courage, strong faith, boldness and patience in our walk before You. This we pray in the name above all names, Jesus the Christ, AMEN.

MESSAGE

Through the wondrous and awesome power of prayer and of the Holy Spirit, we gather to worship our Lord, not only here in Florida, but around the world. Welcome to our first publication of the SABBATH & SUNDAY WORSHIP MESSAGE. We have gone through some forced changes in the ministry; no longer delivering multiple in-person Worship services to as many as six individual facilities on the weekends. We have had a good run of  10-years but time (read that AGE) travels with great speed. So, we will publish this form of Worship Service every Friday evening at 6 p.m. central time. To receive this written worship service each week is as simple as bookmarking the following link:

Instantly, the worship service text will appear on your computer, i-pad, or smart phone globally.     GOD IS GOOD!

So, by God's grace let us begin: "HIS LOVE" is our topic. The love of Jesus, of God the Father, is so deep yet so simple. It is endless, deeper than the outer reaches of the universe.

 I snickered when I read the Anchor verse from Song of Solomon    Son 1:9 KJV  "I have compared thee, O my love, to a company of horses in Pharaoh's chariots."

Although a very high compliment at the time of Solomon's writing; {circa: 953 b.c.}, as horses were powerful, majestic, fearless, and often very beautiful!  Without an upbringing on a ranch or perhaps out West in cowboy country, today's ladies might walk away, or take offense at such descriptive comparison.

 The LOVE from our Lord and Savior is multi-faceted, deep, complex, endless, and born of many attributes. For instance, the Love of Jesus the Christ is:

UNCHANGEABLE - Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He would depart out of this world to the Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. {Joh 13:1 NASB}

As the only "begotten" of the Father, the Love of Jesus is:

DIVINE- "Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. { Joh 15:9 NASB};

SELF-SACRIFICING- "Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. {Joh 15:13 NASB};

INSEPARABLE- Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. {Rom 8:35, 37 NASB}

The sheer weight of His endless love demands of us to discipline away from the worldly, giving ourselves to Him completely and forever to the very one who made us!;

CONSTRAINING- For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. { 2Co 5:14-15 NKJV}

WHO among us would even consider, even for a second, giving ourselves up to death for perfect strangers to whom we have never met? WHO?

SACRIFICIAL- "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." {Gal 2:20 KJV}

Not only SHOWING us, and GROWING us, Jesus TEACHES and REACHES us;

ABOUNDING- May the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also do for you; so that He may establish your hearts without blame in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints. {1Th 3:12-13 NASB}

SUMMARY/APPLICATION

By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. {1Jn 3:16 NKJV, 14:16-17 NKJV}

Share HIM with others as you go this week. Instead of saying God Bless You, Smile broadly and tell them that JESUS LOVES YOU! It is the LOVE of others that marks us as belonging to Jesus!

CLOSING PRAYER Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, thank-You for the love You give us. Grant us the unfettered desire to share every drop of the love that You give us with others. Lord, we know that when we give away all the love that we have, we are immediately refilled to over flowing. Enable each of us to strive and give our love completely, even to strangers, but especially to brothers and sisters in Christ.  This we pray in the name above all names, Jesus the Christ, AMEN.

DOXOLOGY

Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow;

Praise Him, all creatures here below;

Praise Him above, Ye heav'n-ly host;

Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

Amen

BENEDICTION: Num 6:24-26  May The LORD bless you, and keep you;  May The LORD make His face shine on you, And be gracious to you;  May The LORD lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace. 'AMEN

Christ go with you now...until we meet again

Christ go with you now...keep praying on till then

It really doesn't matter what the weather...

Just as long as we all are TOGETHER...

Christ go with you now...Till we meet again!

MERCIFUL AND GRACIOUS IS OUR LORD

And he [The Prodigal Son] arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. Luk 15:20 KJV

The LORD is compassionate and gracious, Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. He will not always strive with us, Nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us. Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him. For He Himself knows our frame; He is mindful that we are but dust. {Psa 103:8-14 NASB}

The anguish of a father over the loss of his son is a most heavy burden. The grief is crushing and unrelenting. For the son, Oh how quickly that which he thought would be productive and fun soon turned fully to trying to stay alive, to survive. The power of two praying men, father and the son. Both looking for a return to the days before the separation.

....at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. {Eph 2:12-13 NKJV}

Our Father, losing His only begotten Son atoning for the sin of His beloved creation, formed in HIS express image from the dust of the Earth.

How merciful and gracious is our Lord? It cannot be measured!

IT'S JUST NOT FAIR!!

Jeremiah the prophet asks the Lord why are those who do evil permitted to prosper?

Jer 12:1-3 NASB Righteous are You, O LORD, that I would plead my case with You; Indeed I would discuss matters of justice with You: Why has the way of the wicked prospered? Why are all those who deal in treachery at ease? (2) You have planted them, they have also taken root; They grow, they have even produced fruit. You are near to their lips But far from their mind. (3) But You know me, O LORD; You see me; And You examine my heart's attitude toward You. Drag them off like sheep for the slaughter And set them apart for a day of carnage!

Jeremiah's inquiry of the Lord God on this question mirrors the concerns of many today regarding the sense of unfair toleration of wrong-doers. We see this same equation play out every day, right before our eyes!

I'm reminded of the parable of the Wheat and Tares spoken by Jesus in {Matthew 13: 24-30}; A land owner planted good seed and along came enemies who planted bad seed with the good while the owner slept. Once the two seeds sprouted, sharp eyes could tell that the Tares did not belong. Workers recommended removing the Tares, but the owner advised to let both grow to maturity allowing no mistaking one from the other. Telling his slaves to gather all of the Tares first, bundle them and burn them. This leaving the good Wheat finally free of the bad seed.

At harvest time, our Lord will separate the Good Sheep to the right hand, and the Bad Goats to the left of His throne. {Mat 25:32-33, 46} The Bad Goats will go away into eternal punishment while the Good Sheep will enter Eternal joy and eternal life. Be assured by Holy Scripture that at the right time, the Lord will balance His books. Fret not, His Will be done!
