THE "WORD" FOR AUGUST 22/23, 2026 LX661-34 WISDOM

CHRIST ETERNAL SENIOR MINISTRIES

THE "WORD"

AUGUST 22/23, 2026 LX661-34

Sabbath Meditations

Welcome to this week's Parasha "KI TETZE" (When you go Out)

Deuteronomy 21:10-25:19, Isaiah 54:1-10, 1Corinthians 5:1-5

When you go out to war against your enemies, and Adonai your God hands them over to you and you take them captive...

(Deu 21:10 TLV)

SUNDAY, THE LORD'S DAY

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (Rom 1:16-17 kjv)

GREETINGS: Hello beloved! May the peace of our Lord Jesus be with you today and every day, Amen.

SYNOPSIS: Wisdom. A most important character trait and often elusive to the flesh. Wisdom is readily available or...readily elusive by choice. Who's choice you ask? YOURS! Lets travel together along the trail of wisdom and see why WISDOM is such a big deal!

OPENING PRAYER: Almighty Creator, Father, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, thank You for gathering us together today, in fellowship, that we might grow and be collectively accountable to follow the Lord's will and guidance. Open our eyes, ears and souls so that we might receive the Lord's Message for us on this Holy day, through Jesus, AMEN.

THE "WORD":

WISDOM

Our source of wisdom and Biblical justification comes to us from Proverbs and the Book of James, along with sage advise from a Grandfather Curly Logan, My Grand Father on my mother's side.

Grandpa's nickname was "Curly". He had pure white hair and when the humidity pressed upwards, his white hair would curl up, thus the moniker "Curly". He was a career Rail Road man, staring as a fireman on steam locomotives, then engineer graduating to Turntable Master and eventually section foreman.

A man of few words but used this preface a lot!: "A WISE MAN WOULD"... The statement was a caution preceding many short conversations, especially when guiding a precocious kid like me! If his advise was disregarded, as this kid would often do, I learned quickly that my day was about to turn ugly! I had done something very UNWISE!

As the Section Foreman Grandpa was responsible for a very long stretch of track, and included constant inspections of tracks and ties along with sidings and switches. Weeding was also on that list. that was the task on the following day.

Gramps hired me to operate the Motor Car and keep it slow, nice and easy with no jerky starts or stops while the crew on the flat bed could burn away the weeds which could impend the tracks if not maintained. In the past, I had done very well operating the Motor Car. I was 10 years old and was taught, by my grandfather. He would always tell me that WISDOM was required when operating any railroad equipment!

Did I do the WISE thing that day? NOPE! My cavalier and UNWISE goofing around caused one of the workers to tumble off of the flat trailer, while holding a long handled burning blow torch. The worker was not hurt, no fire extension, but Grandpa immediately FIRED ME! In front of the crew He told me to "Get my rear-end back to the section house!" (a mile away.) GO...GIT!

That was the longest and loneliness mile I ever walked. The penalty for being UNWISE! Gramps FIRED ME! In adulthood, the lack of wisdom can kill. I learned a very WISE lesson that day, long ago.

Turning to Proverbs now, we focus on an "UNWISE" woman and compare the result with a woman who had and practiced WISDOM;

(Pro 9:13-18) (13) The woman of folly is boisterous, She is naive and knows nothing. (14) She sits at the doorway of her house, On a seat by the high places of the city, (15) Calling to those who pass by, Who are making their paths straight: (16) "Whoever is naive, let him turn in here," And to him who lacks understanding she says, (17)"Stolen water is sweet; And bread eaten in secret is pleasant." (18) But he does not know that the dead are there, That her guests are in the depths of [HELL] {Sheol.}

This same scene plays out hundreds of times each day all around the world. God does not send us to HELL. WE send ourselves willingly through the decisions we make, the people we associate with, in whom we believe!

A dear friend recently told me about a bumper sticker that got his attention. The sticker simple read;

ETERNITY BOUND?

SMOKING? or NON-SMOKING?

We looked at each other in silence for a few seconds, then he said "Kinda sums it all up, huh? YES...I responded.

(Pro 9:1-12) [Another woman whose name is Wisdom has built her house, She has hewn out her seven pillars; [meaning that her foundation was built to PERFECTION, the number SEVEN signifies as such] (2) She has prepared her food, she has mixed her wine; She has also set her table; (3) She has sent out her maidens, she calls From the tops of the heights of the city: (4) "Whoever is naive, let him turn in here!" To him who lacks understanding she says, (5) "Come, eat of my food And drink of the wine I have mixed. (6) "Forsake your folly and live, And proceed in the way of understanding." (7) He who corrects a scoffer gets dishonor for himself, And he who reproves a wicked man gets insults for himself. (8) Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you, Reprove a wise man and he will love you. (9) Give instruction to a wise man and he will be still wiser, Teach a righteous man and he will increase his learning. (10) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. (11) For by me your days will be multiplied, And years of life will be added to you. (12) If you are wise, you are wise for yourself, And if you scoff, you alone will bear it. (Pro 9:1-12 nasb)

They call this WISDOM. Those who are lacking in this regard (and there are so many) are on the Super Highway to Hell, and the SMOKING SECTION.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

(Jas 1:5)

Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing. But the WISDOM from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

(Jas 3:13-18)

Nearly 2/3rds of the earth's human population will decide to ignore the warnings and willfully commit themselves to eternity in total darkness, burning forever in the fires of Hell, always in the active process of dying. Dying that never will be completed, the pain, agony and separation from God suffering forever. Our decisions, our behavior, our egos, and lack of WISDOM all combine to reward the effort with pain and sorrow instead of joy and happiness in His Light. Remember, it is your decision! Be wise, choose well. The end of days is nigh!

CLOSING PRAYER: Almighty God, Lord Jesus, Holy Spirit, we pray Thee open the eyes of those who are blind to the danger. Of those who are hopelessly lost having forgotten the narrow way. Open their eyes and ears, O' Lord, to hear and see the only way, being clearly written in Holy Scripture. May their hard hearts be softened from the inside out, and may their blind eyes SEE and they who are lost be FOUND. In the name above all names JESUS the CHRIST, AMEN

THE "WORD" FOR AUGUST 15/16, 2026 LX660-33 - TRUST IN THE LORD/FEAR OF GOD

CHRIST ETERNAL SENIOR MINISTRIES

THE "WORD"

AUGUST 15/16, 2026 LX660-33

Sabbath Meditations

Welcome to this week's Parasha "SHOFTIM" (Judges)

Deuteronomy 16:18-21:9, Isaiah 51:12-52:12, Mark 14:53-64

Judges and officers you are to appoint within all your gates that Adonai your God is giving you, according to your tribes; and they are to judge the people with righteous judgment. You are not to twist justice—you must not show partiality or take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and distorts the words of the righteous."

(Deu 16:18-19 TLV)

SUNDAY, THE LORD'S DAY

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (Rom 1:16-17 kjv)

GREETINGS:

Welcome Dearly Beloved. By the WILL and Grace of GOD, we gather this day, here and around the globe, hundreds of us, all with the same mission; to WORSHIP The CREATOR and HIS WORD. Imagine, the author HIMSELF of the ENTIRE UNIVERSE has purposely ordained this glorious plan. It is not by happen-stance that you are here with the rest of us, WORSHIPING as one body together as CITIZENS ETERNAL in HIS KINGDOM to come. Together we grow in His "WORD". PRAISE HIS HALLOWED NAME! JESUS, our SAVIOR!

PROLOGUE : We sometimes stumble over the narrow or difficult failing to look beyond that which appears right before our faces. On one or more occasions we tend to get "VAPOR LOCKED" over a single word or phrase. In Bible interpretation expanding the field of view often allows the Lord to guide your gaze to a greater understanding of His "WORD". The BIBLE interprets itself.

OPENING PRAYER: O' Mighty Father of all Creation, thank You for gathering us together from around the globe to receive Your "WORD". Open our minds, souls, and hearts as we read together LIGHT reflected from the Cross, a reverential reception of the Lord guiding us on a wondrous eternal journey during our brief time on this planet. Permit this Holy inquiry to edify His supreme deity as our Teacher, our Lord and Savior, our KING of KINGS Eternal, THE ALL MIGHTY, AMEN

THE "WORD":

TRUST IN THE LORD / FEAR OF GOD

The fear of man brings a snare, But he who trusts in the LORD will be exalted. Many seek the ruler's favor, But justice for man comes from the LORD. (Pro 29:25-26 nasb) In the english-western translations, there are some who stumble over the word "fear" when we are taught to FEAR the LORD.

The LORD is exalted, for He dwells on high; He has filled Zion with justice and righteousness. And He will be the stability of your times, A wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge.

The FEAR of the LORD is his treasure. (Isa 33:5-6 nasb) Perhaps if we add another word preceding FEAR, it might soften our view easing a greater TRUST in the Creator of...EVERYTHING! Including YOU! A word like, A HEALTHY FEAR, or maybe A REVERENTIAL FEAR.

I Loved my dad, and I trusted him, but I had a sincere and almost BIBLICAL fear when facing punishment at his hand for some dumb thing that I had done. Having a RESPECTFUL level of FEAR of my father side-tracked a bunch of return engagements to the Leather-strap-of-knowledge applied to my seat of education!

So much more, our Holy Father and that He deserves to be loved, trusted and FEARED in a reverential and God respecting manner.

When we think about FEARING GOD, think of REVERENTIAL FEAR. A reverential Fear of our Lord and His mighty power...a power so awesome that we cannot begin to comprehend it in our tiny brains.

Mankind and critters can kill the human body. It happens everyday. Only GOD who created YOU can not only kill the body, He can destroy your very soul...forever! Reverential FEAR is a good thing!

The Psalms inform us that the LORD is high above all nations; His glory is above the heavens. Who is like the LORD our God, Who is enthroned on high, Who humbles Himself to behold The things that are in heaven and in the earth?

He raises the poor from the dust And lifts the needy from the ash heap, To make them sit with princes, With the princes of His people. He makes the barren woman abide in the house As a joyful mother of children. Praise YOU LORD! (Psa 113:4-9 nasb)

The consistency radiating from our Lord fosters TRUST. As He is LOVE, HE also is TRUST. He is the same today from before creation, and will be the same forever. He is IMMUTABLE...He does not change! As a people, a nation, our money carries the bold and beautiful statement reflecting the contents of hearts and souls of it's citizens...IN GOD WE TRUST. May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and into the steadfastness of Christ. (2Thes 3:5 nasb) Only when you use the BROAD VIEW will you discover and see the narrow opening on the narrow road leading to the Kingdom of Almighty GOD!

CLOSING PRAYER: Almighty God, thank-You for this global assembly. These precious eyes reading, learning, growing and then sharing the wisdom of the "WORD" of our Master, our CREATOR, our GOD through hungry souls no matter the tongue, the country, or the land. Your blessings endure for ever and ever, and we are forever grateful, Thank You O' Lord Jesus, AMEN

THE "WORD" FOR AUGUST 8/9, 2026 LX359-32 --FINISHING THE RACE WELL

CHRIST ETERNAL SENIOR MINISTRIES

THE "WORD"

AUGUST 8/9, 2026 LX659-32

Sabbath Meditations

Welcome to this week's Parasha "Re'eh" (See / Behold)

Deuteronomy 11:26-16:17, Shabbat Rosh Chodesh: Isaiah 66:1-24,

Numbers 28:9-15, Matthew 7:7-29

See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse— the blessing, if you listen to the mitzvot of Adonai your God that I am commanding you today, but the curse, if you do not listen to the mitzvot of Adonai your God, but turn from the way I am commanding you today, to go after other gods you have not known." (Deu 11:26-28 TLV)

FINISH THE RACE WELL

...Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. (Heb 12:1-2 nasb)

GREETINGS: Welcome Beloved. By the WILL and Grace of GOD, we gather this day, around the globe, hundreds of us, all with the same mission; to WORSHIP The CREATOR. Imagine, the author HIMSELF of the ENTIRE UNIVERSE has purposely built this glorious plan. It is not by chance that you are here with the rest of us, at the same time WORSHIPING together as CITIZENS ETERNAL in HIS KINGDOM to come. PRAISE HIS HALLOWED NAME! JESUS!

PROLOGUE : The Apostles Paul, John, and others allude in their individual messages in The Holy Scriptures that our very brief journey on this earth might be well served by the following example; That from beginning to end, the brief 70, 80, 90 years of fleshly life allotted to us by our Creator evaporates quickly! From our first breath the paramount goal should always be to Finish the Race Well!

OPENING PRAYER: O' Mighty Father of all Creation, thank You for gathering us together from around the globe to receive Your "WORD". Open our minds, souls, and hearts as we read together reflections from the Cross, a reverential review of the Lord's brief time amongst us on this planet. Permit this Holy inquiry to edify His supreme deity as our Lord and Savior, our KING of KINGS Eternal, THE ALL MIGHTY, AMEN

THE "WORD":

FINISH WELL

Brigadier General Michael Ferguson

As the Apostles Paul and John alluded to in his writings, U.S. Army Brigadier General Michael Ferguson brings to the present a message on the importance of FINISHING WELL:

In an age of so little perseverance I find these words are ringing in my ears like the background music on an elevator. Fight the good fight; keep the faith; finish the race.

I can't count how many times I heard Pastor Arnold Lastinger speak these words of challenge into my life. As a young man with no experience I probably rolled my eyes, but as time has passed this holy background music has become more like the soundtrack of a timeless movie. (Yes, I downloaded the Star Wars movie score in anticipation of Episode VII. Thank you, John Williams.)

On December 8th, Pastor Lastinger went absent from the body and present with the Lord. What a soul-marking moment it was for me, as I watched him worship until the end, using his dying breath and waning strength to lift his hands to the God he longed for.

Several days later I flew to Mississippi where I spent time with another one of my heroes, John Perkins. Due to his age and health concerns his daughter makes clear that he needs boundaries on his schedule. Yet when he starts talking about Jesus and justice and the greatness of God, he just won't stop. I'm serious. One night, after hours of conversation, I had to plead with him to go home and go to bed, as it was approaching 10:00. As we finished, he invited me to be a part of the Bible study he was leading the next day. At 5:30 the next morning. I've never heard of a Bible study at 5:30 in the morning. But sure enough, there he was, long before the sun would rise, leading a room full of men through Romans 9. It was like watching a child opening a present on Christmas morning. Joy. Energy. Wonder. 85 years of age and he is still burning.

A week earlier, I listened as Pastor Lastinger described his peace and contentment and anticipation of heaven. "It's all true," he told me. "When I preached funerals in my 20's I thought I believed it. But 50 years later I realize, it's all true. And it works!" he explained with a peace I can't explain. But then I heard something else: his longing for his Savior. The closest comparison I have is like a bridegroom getting ready for his honeymoon. He was longing for Jesus. On his deathbed he was still burning.

I want to burn till the end.

In an age of so little perseverance these two men stand tall. Their voices have weight. And their entire life has become their message. Neither has tried to stay relevant, and that is part of what makes them so. Their transcendence is their relevance. Oh how it has fed my soul to be exposed to men whose lives carry such a rare grace. Some things can only be said after years. Or decades. Or a lifetime. And the only way you get this kind of gravitas is to persevere. To endure. To finish your race.

What a lesson for young leaders.

I've heard it said that it takes 20 years to make a man or woman of God. But I'm starting to think it takes a lifetime. In a culture that bows before the shrine of youth and worships to the tune of the latest one hit wonder, it becomes difficult to discern when timeless words are being written and the truest lives are being lived. But I long for this.

SUMMARY:

Did these men give me clues about how to persevere? Sure. Both would tell me stay curious. Keep learning. Figure out how to handle your pain. Set up accountability relationships to deal with temptation. But at the end of the day both of these men most fed me because their obsession with Jesus. I would meet with Pastor Lastinger seeking wisdom, and it was there. But in the middle of a lunch meeting he would break down in tears when he began to speak of Jesus. I flew to Mississippi seeking justice, and it was there. But what I found most was a man dripping with the Author of justice. --Army BG Michael Ferguson

September 4, 1938 --January 18, 2020

Finish well, my friend.

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. (1Co 9:24-25 nasb)

CLOSING PRAYER: Almighty God, thank-You for this global assembly. THE "WORD" FOR AUGUST 1, 2026, LX658-31 -THE GREAT TAKING AWAY

CHRIST ETERNAL SENIOR MINISTRIES

THE "WORD"

AUGUST 1, 2026

Sabbath Meditations LX658-31

Welcome to this week's Parasha "EIKEV" (Because)

Deuteronomy 7:12-11:25, Isaiah 49:14-51:3, John 14:1-31

Then it will happen, as a result of your listening to these ordinances, when you keep and do them, that Adonai your God will keep with you the covenant kindness that He swore to your fathers. He will love you, bless you and multiply you. He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the produce of your soil, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your herds and the young of your flock, in the land that He swore to your fathers to give you."

(Deu 7:12-13 tlv)

SUNDAY

THE LORD'S DAY LX658-31

RAPTURE..."The Great Taking Away"

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. (1Th 4:16 nasb)

GREETINGS: Welcome Beloved. By the very Grace of GOD, we gather this day, around the globe, to WORSHIP The CREATOR; to FELLOWSHIP around The Holy Scripture reading and absorbing His "WORD". Grant us all that we need, O' Lord, and equip us with unveiled eyes and open souls and lead us to a full understanding and Your mighty Will, through Jesus, The Christ, AMEN

CALL TO WORSHIP: 'Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me." (Rev 3:20 nasb)

PROLOGUE : Jesus is truly standing at the door. The Shofar has been brought forward. The call could come at any hour. Are YOU ready?

OPENING PRAYER: Majestic and powerful Creator, thank You for gathering us together in fellowship to worship on this Holy day. Lead us through past "Rapture-like" events and fill us with confidence, faith, and understanding today. We feel your very presence knowing that You are at the door. Our Faith and Love fills us with joy and anticipation of the ETERNAL seeing You as You truly are, forever in the Kingdom to come, O' COME QUICKLY LORD JESUS, AMEN

THE "WORD":

The word "RAPTURE" does not appear in our Bibles. The biblical event(s) dealing with a rapture do exist. It is in this context and at this time that we examine the "Taking" or "Catching Away", as it is known, or as in the Latin "rapio" meaning to snatch away or capture. To be taken quickly!

Several thousand years earlier, we discover an event that could well be the very first Rapture type of "catching up" or "taking away" and recorded in Holy Scripture. (Gen 5:22-24) Then Enoch walked with God three hundred years after he became the father of Methuselah, and he had other sons and daughters. So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

This is the first recorded incident of what we may identify as a "RAPTURE" ; "The snatching away" "the being caught up" of a living human from the surface of the earth; transporting them into the Heavenly Kingdom.

It was Elijah { Chapter 17 of First Kings} who confronted King Ahab and his sinful ways, along with his wife Jezebel, and relayed the word of God that their land would not see rain nor dew for years as punishment for their deeds. This warning came to be!

In an interesting side-bar, Elijah and another fellow would would follow 800- years later had very similar tastes in clothing: Both being large "HAIRY" men who wore "HAIRY" clothing with a big leather belt around the waist. That other fellow was...named John -- JOHN the BAPTIST! John's diet was Locusts and Honey. Elijah's diet was often "raw meat of unknown origin" often brought to him by Ravens.

The Prophet ELIJAH was a most interesting and effective servant and God had a close relationship with him.

Now, about 2,000 years later during or about 868 BC., we find another beloved servant of God named ELIJAH. Elijah was of the TISHBITE family line; serving as a Prophet of the Living God during King Ahab's Reign. We find this in 1 Kings Chapter 17.

Elijah and prophet partner Elisha traveled together, engaged in the Lord's business perhaps through what I believe that Elijah had forethought that he was near death! On the last day that Elijah was on the earth, the Jordan River was parted like the RED SEA was, and both Elijah and Elisha crossed over to the other side. This was witnessed by many. Once on the other side, the river flow returned to normal.

From here we travel forward nearly 1,000 years and the life, death and Resurrection of the Son of God, Jesus the Christ. The ascension of the LIVING Jesus in full view of the Apostles as He rose into the heavens disappearing in a cloud was, to me, Jesus demonstrating the method and manner of Rapture that the church would experience on that day when He calls us to Him and the dead in Christ will rise first and WE then will together join the Lord in the Air, in an instant.

(Joh 5:28-29 nasb) John writes: "Do not marvel at this; for an hour is coming, in which all who are in the tombs will hear His voice, and will come forth; those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the evil deeds to a resurrection of judgment.

Later on The Apostle Paul further expands the rapture event;

(1Th 4:13-17) But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep-- [having died as believers]. We will immediately follow along in the RAPTURE and meet the Lord in the air!

It is there, in the Kingdom, where we will be witness to the events that lead to the earth's destruction and renewal. Our minds and eyes will finally be unveiled whereby we will clearly know and understand the eternal significance of these events, and the wisdom in the promise of eternal Joy in the presence of he who created all things, including you and I.

When the NEW Jerusalem comes to the earth. [1500 miles wide, 1500 miles long, 1500 miles high; A PERFECT CUBE.] The term, "Heaven on Earth" will take on a whole new significance!

After Elijah arranged to get rid of all Queen Jezebels BAAL Priests, the Lord advised him that he needed to prepare to depart the earth and to hand over the Reigns of Prophesy to a man curiously named ELISHA! The Lord did not say that Elijah was about to die. Only that he would be departing alive from the Earth...in chariots of fire, a most dramatic and wondrous departure from Earth!

SUMMARY: Perhaps one day, in the Kingdom of God in the New Jerusalem we might have the opportunity to ask the Lord if He would comment on many mysteries that have perplexed humans for a very long time. WE should be equipped now to understand on a celestial level. For certain, "Boredom" will never be found in the New Kingdom of God. The more we know...the more we know that we do not know...and the cycle will repeat for ever!

CLOSING PRAYER: Almighty God, thank-You for this global assembly. All of these precious eyes reading and then sharing the "WORD" of our Master, our CREATOR, our GOD with hungry souls no matter the tongue, country, or land. Your blessings endure for ever and ever, and we are forever grateful, O' Lord Jesus, AMEN

DOXOLOGY

THE "WORD" FOR JULY 25/26, 2026 LX657-30 "IT IS FINISHED"

CHRIST ETERNAL SENIOR MINISTRIES

 THE "WORD"

JULY 25/26, 2026

Sabbath Meditations

Welcome to this week's Parasha "Va'etchanan" (And I Pleaded)

Deuteromony 3:23-7:11, Isaiah 40:1-26, John 10:1-42

And I besought the LORD at that time, saying, O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might? (Deu 3:23-24 tlv)

SUNDAY, THE LORD'S DAY

IT IS FINISHED (John 19:30 nkjv)

GREETINGS: Welcome Beloved. By the very Grace of GOD, we gather this day, around the globe, to WORSHIP The CREATOR. Imagine, the very author of the ENTIRE UNIVERSE has purposely built this glorious plan, allowing us to be CITIZENS ETERNAL in HIS KINGDOM to come. PRAISE HIS HALLOWED NAME!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.(Rom 1:16-17 kjv)

CALL TO WORSHIP: History records testimony from man of visions of his life passing in review just before the last breath on earth is taken. Holy Scripture may well guide us during such a short review envisioned by Jesus, our LORD and SAVIOR, in His last moments on that horrid cross.

PROLOGUE : (Joh 19:30 nkjv) So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. Since Jesus was fully SPIRIT and fully FLESH, a curious and reverent mind might wonder if our Lord saw, in his mind, certain visions of His earthly life past as many fully fleshly beings have for hundreds of years claimed their loved ones might have experienced. If He did or did not, the event can never be validated nor confirmed. Just a curiosity.

THE "WORD": With Great reverence let us consider the following; One believer's impression of what Jesus might have envisioned in the precious moments having drawn His last earthly breath and before the resurrection;

Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves. After His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many. (Mat 27:51-53 nkjv)

For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me." (1Co 11:23-24 nkjv)

So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you? Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am. If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. (Joh 13:12-14 kjv)

Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. (Joh 11:39 kjv) And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. (Joh 11:43 kjv)

Now there was a large herd of swine feeding nearby on the mountain. The demons implored Him, saying, "Send us into the swine so that we may enter them." Jesus gave them permission. And coming out, the unclean spirits entered the swine; and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, about two thousand of them; and they were drowned in the sea. (Mar 5:11-13 nasb)

As He was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed was imploring Him that he might accompany Him. And He did not let him, but He *said to him, "Go home to your people and report to them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He had mercy on you." (Mar 5:18-19 nasb)

When they saw Him, they were astonished; and His mother said to Him, "Son, why have You treated us this way? Behold, Your father and I have been anxiously looking for You." And He said to them, "Why is it that you were looking for Me? Did you not know that I had to be in My Father's house?" But they did not understand the statement which He had made to them. And He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and He continued in subjection to them; and His mother treasured all these things in her heart. And Jesus kept increasing in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.

(Luk 2:48-52 nasb)

SUMMARY: Perhaps one day, in the Kingdom of God in the New Jerusalem we might have the opportunity to ask the Lord to comment on the most tender and wondrous moments in His 33 years, teaching us directly, flesh to flesh on a celestial level.

CLOSING PRAYER: Almighty God, thank-You for this global assembly. These precious eyes reading and then sharing the "WORD" of our Master, our CREATOR, our GOD with hungry souls no matter the tongue, country, or land. Your blessings endure for ever and ever, and we are forever grateful, O' Lord Jesus, AMEN
