DECLARATION

SUNDAY MESSAGE:
LAWLESS MAN'S SIN AND THE FLOOD
Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and the earth was filled with violence; Then God said to Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of them; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth.{Gen 6:11,13 NKJV}
OPENING PRAYER
Father God, as created beings we are not equipped to grasp the depth of disappointment and pain that You felt in Your heart as You watched the carnage on earth unfold. After You created man, in Your wondrous image he became covered with dross as he pursued SIN in the absence of law.
That which ADAM had started, spread its vulgarity to all mankind. Only eight chosen human beings would survive as a remnant of the destruction which was about to be released upon the earth.
Mighty Creator, let us all tremble in fear of Your mighty wrath, and unlimited power. Open our EARS, our HEARTS, our SOULS as we enter the ARK with NOAH today and learn of the greatness of HE who created all of us, Jesus, the Son of God, Amen.
MESSAGE
We open today in the Gospel according to John; In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.
All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. {Jn1:1-5,14 NKJV} From the moment of creation, the WORD was!
From the very day when God commanded that Adam & Eve depart the Garden of Eden, because of the great SIN, we have explored the horrible events that overtook the entire earth by man as he followed Satan and rebelled against God. Out of the millions, perhaps even a BILLION beings on the planet, GOD identified only eight precious souls who stood strong in defiance of the vulgar horrors that were common place through out the earth.
It was time to take action. God had enough. There would soon be a "Cleansing", a RESET! Our LORD Said: "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh, yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years". {Gen 6:3, NKJV}
Gen 6:9 ...Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his time; Noah walked with God. Noah and his family were the only ones on this planet that God recognized as having FAITH.
Now at the ripe old age of 500 years old, this small town Preacher and Man of God would embark in a whole new undertaking; that of a Boat Builder. Not just a little boat, but a huge, sea worthy vessel almost mirroring the size and shape of ships we have today known as cargo-container ships.
Scripture is silent on where physically the town was in which Noah preached, and subsequently built the Ark. There is no indication one way or the other of the presence of any sort of body of water nearby. We can be assured that Noah and his family was not taken seriously by anyone living at that time.
Lets open our Bibles now to Genesis Chapter SIX and begin reading in Verse 11:
Gen 6:11-22 Now the earth was corrupt in the sight of God, and the earth was filled with violence. God looked on the earth, and behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth.
Then God said to Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before Me; for the earth is filled with violence because of them; and behold, I am about to destroy them with the earth. "Make for yourself an ark of gopher wood; you shall make the ark with rooms, and shall cover it inside and out with pitch.
"This is how you shall make it: the length of the ark three hundred cubits, its breadth fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits. [THAT IS: 450'L x 75'W x45'H] "You shall make a window for the ark, and finish it to a cubit from the top; and set the door of the ark in the side of it; you shall make it with lower, second, and third decks.
"Behold, I, even I am bringing the flood of water upon the earth, to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life, from under heaven; everything that is on the earth shall perish.
"But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife, and your sons' wives with you. "And of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring two of every kind into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female. "Of the birds after their kind, and of the animals after their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of every kind will come to you to keep them alive.
"As for you, take for yourself some of all food which is edible, and gather it to yourself; and it shall be for food for you and for them." Thus Noah did; according to all that God had commanded him, so he did.
All the toil and labor was about to confirm what Noah had been preaching; that fleshly life in the world was going to end and only a fraction of the air-breathing life on this planet would survive. Satan and his influence on the greater population caused their ears to be deaf, their eyes were blinded and the hearts in their chest turned to stone.
When all the animals began to gather outside the ARK in the weeks before the water came, you would think that the local population would think it strange. Noah's family began escorting the animals, by pairs; Male and Female into the ARK; getting them accustomed to the cramped spaces. Food and supplies of all varieties had to be loaded. Certainly only the hand of a MIGHTY GOD could orchestrate such a massive event.
In Genesis Chapter Seven, Gen 7:1 Then the LORD said to Noah, "Enter the ark, you and all your household, for you alone I have seen to be righteous before Me in this time.
For the next seven days, cargo was adjusted here an there, the animals fine tuned into the position that they would be transported in, food, water and supplies were double checked. Gen 7:4-6
"For after seven more days, I will send rain on the earth forty days and forty nights; and I will blot out from the face of the land every living thing that I have made." Noah did according to all that the LORD had commanded him.
Now Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of water came upon the earth.
AT THE END OF SEVEN DAYS, THE LORD CLOSED THE DOOR ON THE ARK.
Gen 7:17-23 Then the flood came upon the earth for forty days, and the water increased and lifted up the ark, so that it rose above the earth. The water prevailed and increased greatly upon the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water. The water prevailed more and more upon the earth, so that all the high mountains everywhere under the heavens were covered.
The water prevailed fifteen cubits higher, and the mountains were covered. All flesh that moved on the earth perished, birds and cattle and beasts and every swarming thing that swarms upon the earth, and all mankind; of all that was on the dry land, all in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, died.
Thus He blotted out every living thing that was upon the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the sky, and they were blotted out from the earth; and only Noah was left, together with those that were with him in the ark.
Then on the seventeenth day of the seventh month, everyone in the ARK felt a strong jolt that shook the boat from stem to stern {my words} as Verse 8:4 reads that the ARK came to rest upon the mountains of ARARAT. {ARARAT is a range of two huge mountains, the Lesser Ararat rises 12,782 feet and the Greater Ararat is a whopping 16,945 feet in altitude. According to our Bible, the floods rose to 25 feet higher than any of the mountains.}
Gen 8:5-13 The water decreased steadily until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains became visible.
Then it came about at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made; and he sent out a raven, and it flew here and there until the water was dried up from the earth. Then he sent out a dove from him, to see if the water was abated from the face of the land; but the dove found no resting place for the sole of her foot, so she returned to him into the ark, for the water was on the surface of all the earth.
Then he put out his hand and took her, and brought her into the ark to himself. So he waited yet another seven days; and again he sent out the dove from the ark. The dove came to him toward evening, and behold, in her beak was a freshly picked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the water was abated from the earth.
Then he waited yet another seven days, and sent out the dove; but she did not return to him again. Now it came about in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, on the first of the month, the water was dried up from the earth. Then Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and behold, the surface of the ground was dried up.
The Noah family had spent 364 straight days enclosed in the ARK. GOD opened the door.
Gen 8:18-21 So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him. Every beast, every creeping thing, and every bird, everything that moves on the earth, went out by their families from the ark.
Then Noah built an altar to the LORD, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.
The LORD smelled the soothing aroma; and the LORD said to Himself, "I will never again curse the ground on account of man, for the intent of man's heart is evil from his youth; and I will never again destroy every living thing, as I have done. [in verse 9:11 God adds the phrase "neither shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth".]
Gen 9:1-7 And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.
"The fear of you and the terror of you will be on every beast of the earth and on every bird of the sky; with everything that creeps on the ground, and all the fish of the sea, into your hand they are given.
"Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I give all to you, as I gave the green plant. "Only you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.
"Surely I will require your lifeblood; from every beast I will require it. And from every man, from every man's brother I will require the life of man.
"Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed, For in the image of God He made man. "As for you, be fruitful and multiply; Populate the earth abundantly and multiply in it."
God then established the RAINBOW as a sign to Him of His covenant with His people for all successive generations. Gen 9:15 and I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and never again shall the water become a flood to destroy all flesh.
SUMMARY/APPLICATION
We have now entered into the year 2025. Our Lord is granting us this opportunity to change the course and point in a differing direction. All things are possible with God. Jesus invites each of us to be a participant through prayer.
Pray for that which is righteous, uplifting, edifying, encouraging. Pray aginst all that is evil, vulgar, and coveting. Stand up for the weak, speak out for the lost, encourage those through the Word of God. Tell others how God has blessed you, and that they can be blessed too.
The weighty change of course and direction will not come eazy. Don't think for a moment that the leadership can snap their fingers and all will be well. It took many years to get "this ugly", it will take time, great patience, and stamina to turn the tide and make us LESS UGLY.
Our PRAYERS and relationship with the Lord Jesus is the formula to bring about long-term change.
In these LAST DAYS, Satan will not go quietly. He will attempt to disrupt God's will at every turn. We must be strong in prayer and in faith. Nothing is impossible for GOD!
2025 is the year of the GREAT RESET. We are the CHURCH! The LORD has granted us great power through Prayer. Don't be distracted by Satan's "slight of hand". We know RIGHT from WRONG, GOOD over EVIL. As we go our way, let us Pray:
CLOSING PRAYER
O Lord, our minds fail to rightly grasp the enormity of the events of Noah, his wife, sons and their wives who, as tools in your hand, they were tasked with what seemed an impossible accomplishment. The sanity of our minds returns to a calmer state when we realize that all the heavy lifting, and the miracle survival was by Your very hand. It is YOU O' Lord that makes the IMPOSSIBLE possible, and You do so through the gift of GRACE through FAITH. Help us, equip us as the course is changed and we witness a new direction. Lord, help us all to strengthen our FAITH, in the Name above all names, Jesus The Christ, AMEN.
