SUNDAY MESSAGE

"REVIVAL"

And now for a little while grace has been shown from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and give us a measure of revival in our bondage.

Ezr 9:8 NKJV

OPENING PRAYER

Our Father who art in Heaven, it is with humble hearts and thanksgiving that we are gathered together in fellowship to worship You and Your Word. Grant us with open and attentive ears, a receptive and grateful heart and willing soul to receive Your message on this Holy Day, in Jesus the Christ, AMEN

MESSAGE

REVIVAL: Seven little letters that can release incredible life and death powers and by itself the word commands attention when ever uttered. Over the past few years my ears have detected hundreds of souls who are looking, waiting, and praying for a REVIVAL!

REVIVAL, to be REVIVED, says Webster's Dictionary: an act or instance of reviving; the state of being revived, such as: renewed attention of interest in something; a new declaration or publication of something old; a period of renewed religious interest; --an often highly emotional evangelistic meeting/ gathering or a series of gatherings. Lastly, according to Webster; restoration of force, validity or effect, or as to a contract, covenant, or a TESTAMENT.

I have a direct kinship with this word -REVIVAL- after I was electrocuted, falling to the ground and was discovered without pulse or respiration for a bit over three minutes.  I learned later that If a human remains in this pulse-less state, with out direct intervention for more than six minutes, recovery without brain damage is slim. Many do not survive. God kick started my heart, and my first big loud breath nearly scared the daylights out of my co-workers. I was REVIVED, RENEWED, RESCUED!

Monday, January 2nd, 2023; Monday night football, Bengals at Buffalo. A young and vibrant player, for Buffalo named Damar Hamlin was hit hard in the chest while being tackled. Damar got up from the ground, stood upright then collapsed in full cardiac arrest! After about 3 minutes, the whole stadium got very, very quiet. No hot dogs being sold, no beer replenished, every eyeball was focused in Buffalo and around the world on LIVE COLOR TV. Even the play-by-play guys were silent. You could feel the power of prayer in the air!

Nearly an hour went by then all of a sudden, a single arm shot upwards displaying a THUMBS-UP! The stadium and the globe began to breathe again. For this short period of time, millions of people stopped what they were doing, and concentrated on God's Miracle; FULLY DISPLAYED for every eye to see. Damar Hamlin survived. He has been on the field with Buffalo every since. Prayer works. The hands of God appeared to all to see that cold January night, and millions were witness to the REVIVAL of Damar Hamlin.

Lets examine a couple of Biblical Revival events and I ask you to please try and notice the similarities between all of them, including the REVIVALs that I just spoke of.

[Act 2:1-5 NKJV]- When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. (2) And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. (3) Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. (4) And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (5) And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. The bigger portion of the speaking in tongues gift was... that there were those who were just listening to one of them speak --in one language --but the people listening were hearing that same speech in their own mother tongue...AT THE SAME TIME!!

The day of Pentecost was a REVIVAL GATHERING of SUPREME order. Just ask Peter. This was the day his personal REVIVAL arrived. The arrival did not disappoint!: The man Peter, whose background-- a modern day Popeye The Sailor demeanor, --would be filled to the brim with the Holy Spirit guiding every word out of his mouth as he delivered one of the most eloquent and God breathed sermons ever presented. Peter knew that each word was forming in his mouth just as he spoke, signaling that his REVIVAL by his SAVIOR was complete! Thus Peter opened the formal doors of the Church of GOD, Jesus the Christ. Three THOUSAND were saved that day!

Jonah thought he could outrun God and get out of a mission the lord ordered.

Jon 2:1-10 NKJV Then Jonah prayed to the LORD his God from the fish's belly. (2) And he said: "I cried out to the LORD because of my affliction, And He answered me. "Out of the belly of Sheol I cried, And You heard my voice... (7) "When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the LORD; And my prayer went up to You, Into Your holy temple. (8) "Those who regard worthless idols Forsake their own Mercy. (9) But I will sacrifice to You With the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay what I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD." (10) So the LORD spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

After cleaning off all of the vomit, now mixed with pounds of sand from the beach, Jonah paid close attention as he waited for the voice of God to speak.

Jon 3:1-10 NKJV Now the word of the LORD came to Jonah the second time, saying, (2) "Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach to it the message that I tell you." (3) So Jonah arose and went to Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceedingly great city, a three-day journey in extent. (4) And Jonah began to enter the city on the first day's walk. Then he cried out and said, "Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown!"

(5) So the people of Nineveh believed God, proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest to the least of them. (6) Then word came to the king of Nineveh; and he arose from his throne and laid aside his robe, covered himself with sackcloth and sat in ashes. (7) And he caused it to be proclaimed and published throughout Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste anything; do not let them eat, or drink water. (8) But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily to God; yes, let every one turn from his evil way and from the violence that is in his hands. (9) Who can tell if God will turn and relent, and turn away from His fierce anger, so that we may not perish?

(10) Then God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them, and He did not do it.

Jon 4:1-11 NKJV But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he became angry. (2) So he prayed to the LORD, and said, "Ah, LORD, was not this what I said when I was still in my country? Therefore I fled previously to Tarshish; for I know that You are a gracious and merciful God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, One who relents from doing harm. (3) Therefore now, O LORD, please take my life from me, for it is better for me to die than to live!" (4) Then the LORD said, "Is it right for you to be angry?"

(5) So Jonah went out of the city and sat on the east side of the city. There he made himself a shelter and sat under it in the shade, till he might see what would become of the city. (6) And the LORD God prepared a plant and made it come up over Jonah, that it might be shade for his head to deliver him from his misery. So Jonah was very grateful for the plant. (7) But as morning dawned the next day God prepared a worm, and it so damaged the plant that it withered. (8) And it happened, when the sun arose, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat on Jonah's head, so that he grew faint. Then he wished death for himself, and said, "It is better for me to die than to live."

(9) Then God said to Jonah, "Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?" And he said, "It is right for me to be angry, even to death!" (10) But the LORD said, "You have had pity on the plant for which you have not labored, nor made it grow, which came up in a night and perished in a night. (11) And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left—and much livestock? Nineveh received it's REVIVAL. Sadly, it did not last long. Just as, in the past, the sheep strayed into troubling and sinful territory once again...and Nineveh was never spared again!

SUMMARY

After coming home from church last Sunday, my Linda and I watched the full six hours of the Funeral/Memorial for Charlie Kirk. An estimated 101 Thousand souls were physically present, some in the Big Arena, or the smaller venue nearby, along with those who watched on big screens outside.

My Linda and I were counted among the {100 million} viewers watching live as it was streamed to the world, sharing this GLOBAL CALL TO REVIVAL with so many countries around the world, all watching at the same time!

You remember earlier that I had asked you to pick out certain elements that were also present in all of the REVIVALS examined here on this Holy Day?

1. Except through prayer and obedience, man is not involved in the selection nor the conduct in initiating a REVIVAL. Regardless of how man's sinful condition might be! It is God's Holy Spirit that calls us to REVIVAL. It is God's decision.

2. The Lord's fingerprints are all over any real REVIVAL.

3. The Lord selects and assigns, through the Holy Spirit, the manner and the subjects of the REVIVAL. In doing so, God makes the seemingly impossible-- possible! He makes it work! Right before our eyes! That was very apparent last Sunday.

4. The Call by God for REVIVAL is sent to all mankind. Only the believers hear and answer this call. The non believers are deaf and blind, and most of them will sadly perish at the end of their days. We should Pray for them!

5. The energy of a true REVIVAL is pure, clean, electric, encouraging, loving, and speaks to the absolute Gospel TRUTH of His Salvation.

As we close, I pray that the Lord will convict you mightily to seek out and embrace this event and be witness --what it was --that my Linda and I saw, felt, and used up a half a box of Kleenex in the process, shedding tears of JOY! My friends, Brothers and Sisters, this is the REVIVAL period that we have long waited for. Let us not waste it! Let us EMBRACE it!

CLOSING PRAYER

Almighty God, Gird us to live these words of Holy Scripture:

Mat 28:18-20 KJV And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

DOXOLOGY

Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow;

Praise Him, all creatures here below;

Praise Him above, Ye heav'n-ly host;

Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

AMEN

SABBATH MEDITATIONS

"NITZAVIM" (You are standing)

Deu 29:9-30:20; Isaiah 61:10-63:9; Romans 1-:1-21

You are standing today, all of you, before Adonai your God—the heads of your tribes, your elders, your officials, all the men of Israel, your children, your wives, and the outsider within your camp (from your wood chopper to your water carrier). Each of you is to cross over into the covenant of Adonai your God that He is cutting with you today, and into His oath. “This is in order to confirm you today as His people. So He will be your God, just as He promised you and just as He swore to your fathers—to Abraham, to Isaac and to Jacob." (Deu 29:9-12 TLV)

SUNDAY MESSAGE

FRESH START AFTER THE FLOOD

Genesis Chapters 8-9

But God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the cattle that were with him in the ark; and God caused a wind to pass over the earth, and the water subsided. (Gen 8:1 NAS95)

OPENING PRAYER

Almighty God, it was Your direction in Deuteronomy to Moses to teach the Israelites "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. Moses did and then we again broke Your heart, Lord, forgetting the horrible lesson of anguish from the flood, utter destruction, and then FORGIVENESS. How Great Thou Art, mighty Creator, Praise You! AMEN

MESSAGE

It was probably about the eighth or ninth month since the door to the ark was closed and sealed by GOD. All of the creatures were alive and thriving, and even Noah's family seemed to have developed a well exercised routine that served them well.

The Bible is silent regarding such matters internal on the ship. We can, however, glean from extra biblical sources a reasonable image from which conclusions can be drawn. For instance; we may surmise that the heaviest of all the creatures were housed and boarded in the very bottom of the ark. Heaviest to the lightest from bottom to top deck would provide great stability and reduce a capsize if the waters got cantankerous!

We also might deduce that the family of Noah occupied the upper most of the boat for their accommodations. It might look like a framed Baker's Tent that ran for most of the length of the boat along a mid-line on the very top deck.

If we knew more about the internals of the ship, we would likely be most impressed as to the creative devices and methods of handling the needs of not only themselves, but all of God' s creatures as well.

This past Wednesday in Bible Study, we tried to vicariously use our imaginations as if we were among those on board the Ark. Immediately after God closed and sealed the door, the crew discovered how to "MULTI-TASK". When the door closed, it became very dark. We selected one of the crew to attend to the Olive Oil lamps, scattered around the boat. The LAMP LIGHTER would also assume the role of FIRE SAFETY OFFICER, and wick trimmer! (See how this works?)

Most of all the duties of the crew would, out of necessity be volunteered, assumed or assigned by NOAH within the first few days. As time went on, virtually all of the duties were blended among all of the crew... including MUCKING the STALLS. Living creatures [including us!] take in food (grass, herbs, plants) and with a degree of regularity, the output needs attention.

Our Bible study team was very creative, as I suspect Noah's crew was likewise. We even had a Worship Music leader selected. She would lead the singing of hymns and general musical therapy for the travelers.

One area never came up with our group and that was any focus on being the only humans/creatures on the face of the earth. Our Lord may have dampened that thought process for our benefit.

Holy Scripture documents many previous and post events where God provided everything that was need for survival and success as the need arose, God's Grace provided.

By the time that our Bible Study exercise ended, we felt reasonably certain that all of the truly important tasks were covered, not by our own devices, but through the majestic hand of our GOD himself.

Then came the day that a moment of fear gripped the crew; the sound of something scraping the bottom of the boat, followed by a series of very strong jerks, a slight tilting towards one side, and then all sense of motion and floating was no more.

In the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark rested upon the mountains of Ararat. The water decreased steadily until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains became visible. (Gen 8:4-5)

Then it came about at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made; and he sent out a raven, and it flew here and there until the water was dried up from the earth. (Gen 8:6-7)

Then he sent out a dove from him, to see if the water was abated from the face of the land; but the dove found no resting place for the sole of her foot, so she returned to him into the ark, for the water was on the surface of all the earth. Then he put out his hand and took her, and brought her into the ark to himself.

So he waited yet another seven days; and again he sent out the dove from the ark. The dove came to him toward evening, and behold, in her beak was a freshly picked olive leaf. So Noah knew that the water was abated from the earth.

Then he waited yet another seven days, and sent out the dove; but she did not return to him again. (Gen 8:4-12)

Now it came about in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, on the first of the month, the water was dried up from the earth. Then Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and behold, the surface of the ground was dried up. (Gen 8:13) {The covering that NOAH removed was the roof of the Baker's Tent type of structure on the very top of the vessel. There is reason to believe that this was the living quarters for Noah and his family.}

In the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry. Then God spoke to Noah, saying, "Go out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and your sons' wives with you. "Bring out with you every living thing of all flesh that is with you, birds and animals and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, that they may breed abundantly on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth." (Gen 8:17)

So Noah went out, and his sons and his wife and his sons' wives with him.

Every beast, every creeping thing, and every bird, everything that moves on the earth, went out by their families from the ark. (Gen 8:19)

Then Noah built an altar to the LORD, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

The LORD smelled the soothing aroma; and the LORD said to Himself, "I will never again curse the ground on account of man, for the intent of man's heart is evil from his youth; and I will never again destroy every living thing, as I have done. "While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, And cold and heat, And summer and winter, And day and night Shall not cease." (Gen 8:21-22)

SUMMARY

My oh my, they had finally arrived. The only survivors on planet earth. Gosh it was quiet! The animals and birds and all probably leaped for joy in the beautiful sunlight that had only been darkness for the past year. The Lord spoke to the Noah, word of a NEW COVENANT between HIM and mankind.

Then God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying, "Now behold, I Myself do establish My covenant with you, and with your descendants after you; and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you; of all that comes out of the ark, even every beast of the earth.

"I establish My covenant with you; and all flesh shall never again be cut off by the water of the flood, neither shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth." God said, "This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all successive generations; I set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth.

"It shall come about, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow will be seen in the cloud, and I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and never again shall the water become a flood to destroy all flesh.

"When the bow is in the cloud, then I will look upon it, to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth." (Gen 9:16)

And God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth." (Gen 9:17)

The Creator then shared other important directions that would be foreign to them for a while; "The fear of you and the terror of you will be on every beast of the earth and on every bird of the sky; with everything that creeps on the ground, and all the fish of the sea, into your hand they are given. "Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I give all to you, as I gave the green plant. (Gen 9:23)

Instead of routinely living 800 to 900 plus years, God has capped man's life expectancy to 120 years/ Animals now fear us, and some of them will eat us/ All birds and animals are now food for us. And all must be FRUITFUL and MULTIPLY!

There is so much that came out of this Global Godly Correction. Now the hard work begins. This New start....will we be wise, face the Lord, and follow HIS way? A New Start. Will we be able to keep it?

CLOSING PRAYER

The New Start, O' Mighty Creator, the premier reminder of the depth of Love You have for Your Creation. Some will keep what they now have; others will not. May we all pray that the hardened hearts of those refusing to face You Lord, be softened from the inside out to allow the precious LIGHT of the GOSPEL to chase the darkness away. In the Name of JESUS the CHRIST, we pray, AMEN

SUNDAY MESSAGE

NOAH AND THE FLOOD

Genesis Chapters 5-7

The LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. (Gen 6:6 NAS95)

OPENING PRAYER

Although You are so very merciful and forgiving, O' God, the decision to destroy every air breathing land living creature was reached out of great grief that man would be so evil. Open our ears, hearts and souls to the hard lesson in today's Holy Message. Grant us discernment and wisdom as we receive this message, in the name of Jesus, the CHRIST, Amen

MESSAGE

Then Adonai saw that the wickedness of humankind was great on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of their heart was only evil all the time. So Adonai regretted that He made humankind on the earth, and His heart was deeply pained. So Adonai said, “I will wipe out humankind, whom I have created, from the face of the ground, from humankind to livestock, crawling things and the flying creatures of the sky, because I regret that I made them.” But Noah found favor in Adonai’s eyes. (Gen 6:5-8 TLV)

The BIBLE says; Noah was a just man, a pious priest, perfect in his generations. It was also said that Noah walked with God. And Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

I read now from (Gen 6:12-22); So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

And God said to Noah, "The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

[GOPHER WOOD, as it is called in scripture was thought to be like Cypress or Cedar due to this being a sea-going vessel. We have learned that GOPHER WOOD During the same period of Biblical time, would probably have been very plentiful. Gopher wood is a dense, very strong, light weight, quick growing hard wood, perfect for the demands of boats. indigenous mostly in Asia]--

The Lord told Noah; Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch. And this is how you shall make it: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, [450 ft, or 150 yds], its width fifty cubits, [75 ft or 25 yds] and its height thirty cubits. [45ft, about the height of a four story building]

You shall make a window for the ark, said the Lord, and you shall finish it to a cubit from above; [about 18 inches from the top of the roof line] and set the door of the ark in its side. You shall make it with lower, second, and third decks.

And behold, I Myself am bringing floodwaters on the earth, to destroy from under heaven all flesh in which is the breath of life; everything that is on the earth shall die. But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall go into the ark—you, your sons, your wife, and your sons' wives with you.

God said; of every living thing of all flesh you shall bring two of every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female.

Of the birds after their kind, of animals after their kind, and of every creeping thing of the earth after its kind, two of every kind will come to you to keep them alive.

And you shall take for yourself of all food that is eaten, and you shall gather it to yourself; and it shall be food for you and for them." Thus Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did. (Gen 6:12-22 NKJV)

Then the LORD said to Noah, "Enter the ark, you and all your household, for you alone I have seen to be righteous before Me in this time.

"You shall take with you of every clean animal by sevens, a male and his female; and of the animals that are not clean two, a male and his female;

also of the birds of the sky, by sevens, male and female, to keep offspring alive on the face of all the earth.

The LORD Warned Noah; "For after seven more days, I will send rain on the earth forty days and forty nights; and I will blot out from the face of the land every living thing that I have made." (Gen 7:4 NAS95)

Noah did according to all that the LORD had commanded him, [even though]

Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of water came upon the earth. (Gen 7:6 NAS95)

[Then] after the seven days, that the water of the flood came upon the earth.

In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day all the fountains of the great deep burst open, and the floodgates of the sky were opened. (Gen 7:11 NAS95)

The rain fell upon the earth for forty days and forty nights. (Gen 7:12 NAS95)

On the very same day Noah and Shem and Ham and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife and the three wives of his sons with them, entered the ark, (Gen 7:13 NAS95)

Those [with the breath of life] that entered, male and female of all flesh, entered as God had commanded; and the LORD closed it behind him.

Then the flood came upon the earth for forty days, and the water increased and lifted up the ark, so that it rose above the earth.

The water prevailed and increased greatly upon the earth, and the ark floated on the surface of the water. The water prevailed more and more upon the earth, so that all the high mountains everywhere under the heavens were covered. The water prevailed fifteen cubits higher, [~22 feet] and the mountains were covered.

SUMMARY

All flesh that moved on the earth perished, birds and cattle and beasts and every swarming thing that swarms upon the earth, and all mankind;

of all that was on the dry land, all in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life, died.

Thus He blotted out every living thing that was upon the face of the land, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the sky, and they were blotted out from the earth; and only Noah was left, together with those that were with him in the ark. His bride, his sons and their brides.

The water prevailed upon the earth one hundred and fifty days. [Just shy of SIX Months] (Gen 7:24 NAS95) This before the slow retreat of the flood waters.

God opened the side door right at ONE FULL YEAR since the HE closed the door behind NOAH and those in the ark stepped out into brilliant sunshine and a silent, empty world. A new beginning; a fresh start. Noah's first priority after all the animals and creatures were brought out of the ark was to build an altar and sacrifice a burnt offering of thanksgiving to the Lord. A NEW Beginning.

CLOSING PRAYER

O' Father, recent deadly events involving extreme violence paint a picture of an increasing Satanic component. We are witnessing a level of depravity and complete absence of moral character and conscience. Our faith is strong, O' Lord, and all of these events, and those yet to come, are known by You. Faith is a Gift from You, and we vow to remain faithful as we Trust in God, through Jesus, Amen

DOXOLOGY

Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow;

Praise Him, all creatures here below;

Praise Him above, Ye heav'n-ly host;

Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

This coming Wednesday at Bible Study, if the Lord so wills, we will try to re-create what the passengers and animals of this ark experienced during this year long journey.

AMEN

THE CALL

If you have never invited Jesus to be your Lord and savior, or, if you have in the past yet remain unsure of salvation and forgiveness of sin, Please pray with me now: Lord Jesus I need to fill a hole in my life that follows me where ever I go. I am a long-time Sinner and I CONFESS and REPENT of all my sins. I believe that You JESUS are the Lord, that you were hung on a cross and died. I believe that you were raised back to life by God, Your Father, ascended into heaven and presently sit at the right hand of The Almighty. Please come into me, clean me, take me and make me Yours and let me serve from this day forward and forever, Thank-You Jesus, AMEN

If you sincerely prayed with me, your salvation has been assured. {Rom 10:9 KJV} -That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Waste no time in finding like minded folks, to fellowship with, who also know the lord Jesus. Be introduced to a church that preaches the BIBLE. Email me.
