For
[we are not] ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of
God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and
also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed
from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
{ Rom 1:16-17 KJV}

OPENING PRAYER
O' Mighty Shepherd, thank You for gathering all of us together in congregation and worship on this Holy day. Please know, O' Lord, that we cherish Your presence always but especially when we fellowship. Open our ears and souls as we receive Your message, in Jesus name, AMEN.
MESSAGE
The great hymn, "Amazing Grace", written by JOHN NEWTON, an English Preacher in 1772. One of my favorite lines of that beautiful declaration is "I once was lost but now I am found, was blind and now I see!" I would like to add that "I once was DEAD and now I'm FOREVER ALIVE!"...Thank-You Lord Jesus!
The more I learn about our God, the more AWESOME I find Him to be. The more I know Him, the more I LOVE Him. The more I know, the more I know that I don't know.....I HOPE IT NEVER ENDS!
The Lord never selects a human who is perfect, however there were two of them. ADAM the first, and JESUS the last. Adam was created PERFECT, Jesus always was...and still is!
When we find ourselves alone and LOST, it is so very comforting to have access to the highest authority of leadership, and through prayer to recover our compass heading, realign our map, as we plot our way home! The Lord leads by example! He specifically looks for those who are "MOLD-ABLE".
In Deuteronomy Chapter 32, we find the Lord God hard at work..."He found a man in a desert land, And in the howling waste of a wilderness; He encircled him, He cared for him, He guarded him as the pupil of His eye.
"Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, That hovers over its young, He spread His wings and caught them, He carried them on His pinions. "The LORD alone guided him, And there was no foreign god with him. (Deu 32:10-12 NAS95) {By-The-Way, The most popular Foreign God vigorously worshiped today is.......MONEY!!}
Did you know how Bald Eagles, or at least in that family of birds of prey, how the mom teaches her little eagles to take flight? When the time seems right, she allows the baby bird to climb up onto her back, and hang on tight.
Off they go into the air, up and up and up higher and higher. (I think this is a much more exciting learning environment for the baby bird to learn the art of flight, much better, in my opinion, then falling or being pushed from the nest as the rest in the nest TWEET, Good Luck on the landing!!}
Mama Eagle is now very high in altitude and suddenly she rolls, and is now upside down. The little bird is having a fit, and mom then jerks suddenly and the baby loses the talon grip and down it falls. Mom follows closely behind squawking some sort of instruction to the baby. Baby learns to glide more and flap less, and SUCCESS!!
God teaches like the momma Eagle. Listen to this: And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoary hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you. {says the LORD} (Isa 46:4 KJV)
Are you looking for comfort, when you are down and out? Does it sometimes feel as though it is just YOU against the WORLD?
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. (Psa 23:3-4 KJV)
As you stare down that long hallway of indecision, PRAY. Ask the Lord to close all those open doors that we have no business going through, but leave wide-open the doors of YOUR WILL, O' Lord; not our WILL my Lord, not mine! "And the LORD will continually guide you, And satisfy your desire in scorched places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail. (Isa 58:11 NAS95) Remember, the Lord knows your words BEFORE they are uttered!
SUMMARY
A fellow named Epictetus, way back in about AD 75, a local Stoic Philosopher in the Greek city of Hierapolis, uttered these words "It's not what happens to you but how you react that matters. " Two thousand years later, these words are still true! Keep in mind, though, God gave you the gift of decision.
It is YOU who will decide to not REACT against someone or something instead of REACTING out of impulse or anger. When you are down in the dumps, feeling sad and blue and you are at the point of tears...You have a counselor ready and willing to hear your story at any hour, any place, in any circumstance!
Pick-up your celestial cellphone and call 1-800-NOW-PRAY, that's 1-800-609-7729. You will never get a busy signal or a "LEAVE A MESSAGE" prompt. Tell the Chief Shepherd of the sheep whats going on. He is the ultimate leader and will guide you through what-ever issues you are dealing with. For such is God, Our God forever and ever; He will [guide us through.] (Psa 48:14 NAS95)
The leadership of our Savior is flawless, effective, powerful, and comforting. Our part is simple. Believe through Faith in Him and on His promise. Open your mouth and call His name. He will answer. Let Him LEAD in the RIGHT WAY!
CLOSING PRAYER
O' Great Shepherd of the sheep, Masterful Leader and Creator, it is our passion and joy to follow in Your foot steps as You lead the way. Our ways are subordinate to your ways, Your Word certainly more lofty than our any of words. Praise You Awesome King of Kings, in Your name AMEN and AMEN.
DOXOLOGY

Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, Ye heav'n-ly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

THE CALL
If you have never invited Jesus to be your Lord and savior, or, if you have in the past yet remain unsure of salvation and forgiveness of sin, Please pray with me now: Lord Jesus I need to fill a hole in my life that follows me where ever I go. I am a long-time Sinner and I CONFESS and REPENT of all my sins. I believe that You JESUS are the Lord, that you were hung on a cross and died. I believe that you were raised back to life by God, Your Father, ascended into heaven and presently sit at the right hand of The Almighty. Please come into me, clean me, take me and make me Yours and let me serve from this day forward and forever, Thank-You Jesus, AMEN
If you sincerely prayed with me, your salvation has been assured. {Rom 10:9 KJV} -That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
