Privately it has been disclosed through word of mouth that Samuel's family played an active role in the early development of The Daily Light publication.
This family's God ordained participation resulted in the most popular, most read morning and evening devotional ever produced. According to the collective rumor, every member of the household was committed to vigorous Bible reading and study.
The Elder would assign the topic of their collective search; Daily, the family would deliver to Samuel, the Elder, a scripture citation(s) and every week, Samuel would organize, combine and render a cohesive and highly readable devotion that was 100% scripture, word-for-word, with no external commentary; just the Bible interpreting itself from the very Word of God! CLOSING COMMENT AND PRAYER I have relied on this devotional daily for a number of years. In Hospice ministry, it counsels, assures, comforts, and guides as we all are approaching the call of the Lord to come home. It is a timeless beacon in a troubled world, validating the power of immutability of God's will.
Let us Pray: What a remarkable privilege it is to be a creation of the hands of the Great Shepherd of the Sheep. As such, to be blessed and benefit from His eternal being, character, unending love and almighty power through salvation. All of this through His grace, His gift, His promise possible only through the "WORD", His blood, and His name, JESUS the CHRIST OUR LORD, AMEN
