Then Adonai said to Abram, “Get going out from your land, and from your relatives, and from your father’s house, to the land that I will show you. My heart’s desire is to make you into a great nation, to bless you, to make your name great so that you may be a blessing. (Gen 12:1-2 TLV)

"SIN // JUDGMENT // REDEMPTION"
Isaiah Chapter 59
OPENING PRAYER
Mighty and Awesome Father we come with thanksgiving for a roof over our heads, a bed in which to rest, food to eat, clothing to wear and the friendship of this community. On this Holy Day, open our ears, hearts and souls to receive the message You have prepared for us. Guide the lips of the preacher in the TRUTH of SCRIPTURE that lays before him. Grant all of us strength and stamina as we boldly share what YOU have given us, to others with encouragement and love. In the Name of Jesus the Christ, AMEN
MESSAGE
And [the Lord] saw that there was no man, And was astonished that there was no one to intercede; Then His own arm brought salvation to Him, And His righteousness upheld Him. (Isa 59:16 NAS95)
The LORD looked and looked for a man, any man whose works were honest, faithful, righteous, The Lord looked to find any man who, on his own, searches for the truth, and then learning the truth seeks to use the information to right wrongs! But, alas! There was only a small number with potential to be such men, certainly not the majority! It is as though most men turned in their MAN CARD IDs. They went to work for Satan, leaving behind a tiny remnant of real men who said YES to the LORD, becoming PRAYER WARRIORS!
History repeatedly REPEATS in book after book, chapter after chapter, verse after verse. The HOLY Bible is the reflection and record of the history of life, of death, of love, and hate, and unspeakable evil, and unimaginable forgiveness and salvation!
King David had a few ideas he shares in Psalm 40; Sacrifice and meal offering You have not desired; My ears You have opened; Burnt offering and sin offering You have not required. Then I said, "Behold, I come; In the scroll of the book it is written of me. I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your Law is within my heart." (Psa 40:6-8 NKJV)
You and I are the Lord's Sheep. We graze in HIS pasture. We are a peculiar creation that God has blessed with intelligence to weigh and decide, right from wrong. The uniquely disciplined Child of God seems to get bored very quick when personal FAITH must be practiced. FAITH while not being able to see or touch our Creator at will. This despite a universe of evidence that we can see and touch pointing to HE who created everything. JESUS, our Lord and savior.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (Joh 1:1-5,14 KJV)
While on this Earth, a Living, breathing Fleshly Jesus explained to John and the Apostles, details of His relationship He enjoys with the Father; "For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again. "No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father." (Joh 10:17-18 NAS95)
Were you aware that the entirety of the Old Testament was written exclusively for the Jew? Gentiles, Heathens, were never targeted in the messaging of the Gospel. (not to say that they were not witness to the Gospel events) The same is true that a sizable portion of the NEW Testament was likewise written for and directed to the Jew, then later revealed to the Gentile. The stubborn nature of the Israelis moved the Lord to give full access to the heavenly gates of the Kingdom, through Christ Jesus, opening the wonder of Salvation, true Salvation for Everyone who would call HIS name!
A deep grasp and study of the Old Testament AND the New is vital to fully understand God's plans and commands that brings us to where we presently are. Since the Lord is immutable, meaning He does not change, What He speaks is forever! The value of knowing and studying the WHOLE BIBLE gives you the spiritual strength, through Christ, to over come any obstacle. Think of it this way: The OLD Testament IS the NEW Testament CONCEALED! The NEW Testament IS the OLD Testament finally REVEALED!! The OLD is where the deep and strong foundation was constructed in order to support forever the NEW! They are like HAND in GLOVE.
From the Garden of Eden to the present, the cycle of the Promise repeats over and over again;
"SIN always leads to OPPRESSION and Then JUDGMENT resulting in CONDEMNATION or REDEMPTION"
SUMMARY
And [The Lord] saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.
According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompense to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompense. So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD. As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever. The result of the Lord's Will continues bringing to-an-end that repeating cycle of weak FAITH, trading it instantly for the eternal way of spiritual knowledge, learning, living, and loving with joy, FOREVER in His Glory and His presence in the Kingdom to come.
CLOSING PRAYER
Awesome Creator, Lord of our salvation, thank You for being our God. From Genesis to Revelation the Holy record is clear in its reflection of Your power and might. Power in Your wrath, power in Your commands, Your guidance, Your patience, Your forgiveness, and most of all Your unending love. We are the sheep of Your pasture, You are our Shepherd in which our very existence is whispered in Your Holy Word. Praise You Father, Praise You Jesus, Praise You Holy Spirit, amen and AMEN
DOXOLOGY
Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below;
Praise Him above, Ye heav'n-ly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

THE CALL
If you have never invited Jesus to be your Lord and savior, or, if you have in the past yet remain unsure of salvation and forgiveness of sin, Please pray with me now: Lord Jesus I need to fill a hole in my life that follows me where ever I go. I am a long-time Sinner and I CONFESS and REPENT of all my sins. I believe that You JESUS are the Lord, that you were hung on a cross and died. I believe that you were raised back to life by God, Your Father, ascended into heaven and presently sit at the right hand of The Almighty. Please come into me, clean me, take me and make me Yours and let me serve from this day forward and forever, Thank-You Jesus, AMEN
