DECLARATION
For
[we are not] ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of
God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and
also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed
from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
{ Rom 1:16-17 KJV}

SUNDAY MESSAGE
"FATHER AND SON"
We know love by this, that [His Son] laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
1Jn 3:16
OPENING PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, whose Son came to earth to be born of man, then die on the cross, and be re-born as a propitiation for every sinner on earth. Thank You for gathering us to worship in fellowship on this Holy day. Open our hearts ears and souls to receive Your message, Your truth... as Father loves His Son, and the Son loves His Father, AMEN.
MESSAGE
The Bible teaches us to know the love of Christ which surpasses all knowledge, that [we] may be filled up to all the fullness of God. Eph 3:19 NAS95
That opening verse might be short on words, but the weight of it's meaning is so huge that it is incalculable. Only GOD himself could shape His creations in such a supreme manner to allow all of the fullness of Himself to fit neatly in the envelope of the human. Jesus became an incarnate seed where by His human birth through a human virgin became a reality. As time went by, His disciples learned at His knee, but where did Jesus acquire His learning?
Joh 15:12-17 "This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. "Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. "You are My friends if you do what I command you. "No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. "You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you. "This I command you, that you love one another."
Jesus learned all of this from His Father, and as a good Son, He shares the same with you and me. My own earthly father, my dad, taught me so many things. Some directly, one-on-one, others by his example. Children watch their parents closely. What they see is what they learn. What they learn is what they do.
Copying Dad or Mom is a great gift, unless what they copy the less than favorable examples. As I stand here, I am certain that each of you, at sometime in the child-rearing time frame, words that YOU spoke came back to embarrass you through the mouth a small child...Your Child!
Holy Scripture recorded the following in 1 John 4:11--Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.--Be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Holy Scripture encourages us to be Forbearing, and Tolerant of one another, [without grumbling], forgiving one another, if any man holds a grudge against another: just as Christ forgave you, [so also you should be forgiving].
Love was well taught in my family, from the earliest memory, My sister and I knew that we were loved. Mother and Dad never turned off the lights at night until the words I LOVE YOU were said. What a great example that was.
The Lord Jesus, the Son of man came... not to be ministered to, but came to minister, and to give his life [as] a ransom for many. Christ suffered for us, leaving [behind] an example, that [we] should follow in his [foot] steps. Where He goes, so should we!
Ye also ought to wash one another's feet.[said Jesus] For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.--We ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. As the Father lives and teaches, the most powerful lessons are often those that come from observation of the Father.
SUMMARY
Joh 5:19 Jesus said, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.
As Jesus learned at the knee of HIS Father, so we too learn from OUR Father. An eternally GODLY Father that we share!
For the LORD gives wisdom; From His mouth comes knowledge and understanding. [Pro 2:6 NAS95]; ...Jesus continues in Luk 21:15 .."for I will give you utterance and wisdom which none of your opponents will be able to resist or refute." The Lord's Holy Spirit will be living inside our mortal bodies, communicating with our spirit. His words will be OUR WORDS.
As you walk in the foot steps of Jesus, Don't get in a hurry. Be very patient. Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD. [Psa 27:14]
Paul had prayed to the Lord to relieve him of some sort affliction;
Jesus told the Apostle Paul, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Paul responded saying "Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me." [2Co 12:9] AND HE DID!
CLOSING PRAYER
AT the moment You, O' GOD said the words, "Let there be Light" the teaching began. Through the Word, Jesus we had an in-the-flesh human that could relate to all our iniquity, and teach us to call His name and learn, grow, reach and know that which You gave as a divine gift called GRACE. ABBA, we Love You now and forever, AMEN

THE CALL
If you have never invited Jesus to be your Lord and savior, or, if you have in the past yet remain unsure of salvation and forgiveness of sin, Please pray with me now: Lord Jesus I need to fill a hole in my life that follows me where ever I go. I am a long-time Sinner and I CONFESS and REPENT of all my sins. I believe that You JESUS are the Lord, that you were hung on a cross and died. I believe that you were raised back to life by God, Your Father, ascended into heaven and presently sit at the right hand of The Almighty. Please come into me, clean me, take me and make me Yours and let me serve from this day forward and forever, Thank-You Jesus, AMEN
If you sincerely prayed with me, your salvation has been assured. {Rom 10:9 KJV} -That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
